How to Pickle Peppers
Interested in pickling? See how to pickle peppers in this video! Pickled peppers are a great way to preserve your garden harvest. If you’re a beginner pickler, you’ll be surprised how easy this is.
Use any type of pickle from sweet to hot or a mix. These pickles will keep in the pantry up to a year. Great on sandwiches, in pasta salads, and just a nice treat on a cold winter’s day!
Please note the following:
- You need to sterilize the jars and the lids before use, however, you no longer need to sterilize the lids because lids should always be new. Just wash and dry.
- After filling your jars, make sure that you leave “head space” at the top of your jar (1/2 inch from the top of jar).
- Boil/process the pint jars for 10 minutes and quart jars for 15 minutes.
